We were there for a relaxing break, and had a really really nice time. Liked that the hotel was appealing, convenient decor in the rooms. Besides, the location was incredible and peaceful for our stay, within 25 minutes' walk of United Reformed.

We thoroughly enjoyed this great family-run hotel. the staff were affable, with extra attention to details. Got lovely breakfasts with refills and bacon, for example. the location was stunning, the room was functional. the area was very nice near to the northern outskirts of the Lake District, the Lake District, and Keswick and Cockermouth.
